IS THE INCREASING TAX BURDEN IN THE UK MAKING IT A LESS APPEALING PLACE TO LIVE?
Sean Collins, PURE International: We recently carried out a survey to find out what proportion of the anticipated £8.8billion bonus pool some of the City's top earners will invest in international property. Aside from the fact the poll (independently carried out by Populus) found 51% of the sample group planned to invest in overseas property, one of the most interesting things we found was 84% claimed they are either considering moving abroad for tax purposes in the future.

The trend of financial migration I believe is certain to increase with a generation of greater prosperity who also have the experience of extensive travel and in some cases having already lived and worked abroad.
