Skiing and Snow Sports
In winter the resort of Mont Tremblant boasts 94 runs on 660 acres with a longest run of 6km. For those who prefer to venture off the beaten track, a network of cross-country ski trails is a great way to see the spectacular scenery of the national park and beyond. For a taste of a traditional Tremblant winter visitors can try dog sledding, or for those who seek more adrenaline, Tremblant offers the largest network of snowmobile trails in the world. Throughout the ski season there are also night skiing events including the famous 24 hour ski-a-thon charity event.
Saint Sauveur lies in between Tremblant and Montreal and also provides extensive night skiing, with 23 well lit runs it is the joint largest night skiing area in the world. Mont Saint Sauveur is also connected to four other resorts (Mont Avila, Mont Olympia, Mont Gabriel and Morin Heights) via a free shuttle service.
