I Giardini sul Mare is set in a natural valley located high above a beautiful beach on the underdeveloped coastline of South West Sicily. This stunning project will consist of 92 two, three and four bed villas and townhouses, all with outdoor terraces, quiet landscaped gardens and some private pools.
The exteriors will reflect the various Mediterranean architectural influences of Sicily's past with flat Moorish roofs and white washed walls combined with Sicilian materials such as local stone and cotto tiles.
Tranquil green paths, lined with fruit trees and scented plants in the tradition of the island's ancient Greek gardens, will meander through the project culminating at the communal infinity pool and cultural centre positioned high over the beach with spectacular 180º costal views. Green space and green build standards are central to the ethos of the project, with various initiatives including underground irrigation in all gardens and recycling of excess energy to heat water and swimming pools.
On site amenities will also included a small supermarket stocking local produce, tennis courts, volleyball court, children's play area and a fitness centre. At the heart of the development will be a cultural centre where local artisans, including wine producers, chefs, artists, olive oil, ceramics and coral producers, will be able to host work shops and talks, involving the wider community in the daily life of the scheme and ensuring there is something of interest to occupy owners and attract holiday makers year round.
Sicily's cultural heritage and unspoilt, diverse landscape ensure there is a wealth of activities to keep the active visitor busy; from wine tasting to water sports and archaeological wonders. Sicily's friendly people, relaxed way of life and incomparable cuisine born of many conquerors make for the ultimate relaxation destination. It really can deliver all things to all people and is in PURE International's opinion the hidden gem in Italy.
Located on a picturesque stretch of the coastal Agrigento region Sciacca epitomizes the charm and culture of the island with its ancient town centre, traditional craft industries and rambling streets. Sciacca and its surroundings boast a truly enormous number of attractions including fascinating local fishing, coral and ceramics industries, healing thermal baths, some of the world's best preserved archaeological sites, protected park lands, outstanding WWF designated beaches and the famous "Carnevale" which attracts visitors from across Italy and the Mediterranean.
