Casa Serafini is an enchanting community of 39 refurbished and new build residences in the restored Italian hamlet of Bargni nestled in the heart of the Le Marche region.
The properties at Casa Serafini were formerly the ancestral home of the Serafini’s; a family of renowned winemakers, politicians and warriors from Le Marche, whose emblem of three seraphs still stands guard over the main entrance door today.
Comprising one, two and three bedroom properties ranging from 80 m2 to 211 m2, Casa Serafini presents a sublime blend of traditional and historical features with modern design. Each unit is unique with some building work dating from the 15th century including vaulted ceilings, spiral and wooden staircases, rustic brick archways and historical tavernetta features. Traditional materials have been used whenever possible, such as natural stone, brick with plaster to give an ‘a frattazzo’ finish and terracotta tiles to the floors.
The properties have been in the Serafini family for many generations with the last building completed in 1876 before the more recent renovations got underway. There are many original features remaining in the grounds including ornate architecture and sculptures.
With a variety of amenities on site and beaches, golf, restaurants and traditional Italian villages just minutes away, Casa Serafini is perfectly positioned within this diverse Italian region.
